Watt Costs Cuts with Solar Panel Prices

With our current economic meltdown and energy prices fluctuating every day, many of us think that the installation of solar energy to contribute to energy needs of our homes, and reduce our electricity bills.

But how many watts solar panel, we need to say that our electricity bills in half? And how will this cost us to install?

Here are four steps you can follow these two basic questions:

1 – Determine the power used daily

To do this, get your last 12 monthly electricity bills and calculate your average kilowatt hour (kWh) of usage per month solar panel prices. The reason why we use 12 because our power varies with the seasons. But if you do not have your energy bills, you simply use the last month.

Ensollowing, divide your monthly consumption by 30 (the average number of days in a month, your power to get used daily.

- For example: If you have a monthly consumption of 800 kWh, then your daily consumption of 800 / 30 = 26.7 kWh per day.

- Maintenant si vous voulez seulement de réduire de moitié votre facture d’électricité vont à 26,7 / 2 = 13,4 kWh par jour watts solaires peuvent produire.

- Calculate the total 2 Watt solar panel needs:

To do this, you must first determine how many hours of usable sunlight your area receives each day. This is a map of sunshine is useful – you can get a glimpse of our original article on our site.

Once you know your sun by day, return to your day needs of kilowatts and divide by the hours of sunlight per day, then multiply by a factor1.25 (taking into account energy losses in the wiring watt solar panels, batteries and inverter)

- Continuing our example: Our watt solar panel must be equal:

13.4 kWh / 5.5hrs x 1.25 = 3045 watts or 3.045 kilowatts per day.

This means that we have solar panels with a minimum capacity of 3045 watts of power.

3 – Costing Watt Solar Panel:

This step allows the work of the cost of solar panels needed to make 3045 watts of power. When the higher average cost for solar panels in the U.S. is $ 4.85 per watt.

- In our example: It costs us more than 3045 x 4.85 = $ 14,768 to install solar panels for our electricity bill by half. And for the wiring, charge controllers, batteries, inverters, and electrical costs.

4 – Offset tax credits and discounts:

Before turning the firearm and I think it cost us at least $ 14.768 for 3045 Watt Watts solar panel, we need tax incentives and rebates to take.

With the new renewable energy tax credits go, from 1.1.2009, and reductions of State-side, like New York, Connecticut, New Jersey or California, our costs of solar will be much lower than expected.

- Consider this example: If California tax cut should be approximately 20% of the cost of receiving a federal tax credit of 40% on the rest. Thus, after a rabaisd credits, our solar panels would cost us at:

$ 14,768 – $ 14,768 x (20%) – $ 14,768 x (1-20%) x 40% => $ 7089.

Because there are many factors that go into calculating your cost-watt solar panels, you can use ournot as a rough estimate. Some things have been impossible for us to take into account, such as special offers by bedrijven solar system, where it offered discounts on the full install (including the charge controller, inverter, batteries the electrical grid-tie costs, etc.).

Anyway, you can see what it would cost us about $ 7,089 to buy enough solar panels to our electric bill in half. We, however, or for our solar cells at cost or a free source, and the thread of our own solar panels, which obviously saved us a lot of money. The good news is, anyone can learn to find and inexpensive solar cells to make their own watt solar panels.
