The Legal Ways for Parental Rights and Agreements
Being as husband and wife sometimes we do not see the same and it causes problems but sadly to say may end up into a divorce. When children are involved their decisions that has to be made and settled before you file for divorce. Things such as joint parental agreement where both parents assumes responsibilities for their children just as they are married but not living together. Things like visitation rights and support they share these responsibilities equally. In some countries if you live within the same school district the children can actually live with either parent whenever they want as long as I can still continue to go to the same school. Another word for this is joint custody, and it still gives each parent same rights as if they are still living together as husband and wife. If one parent no longer wants to be responsible for the children they can give up their rights as parents, so how can i give up my parental rights. First it is up to your partner on how things will be handled, if it is just one parent that wants to give up the rights then basically it is having a lawyer to make out a legal paper that both parents will sign before a judge. If it is both parents that wants to give up their parental rights then you have to bring in child services since they will be the ones to make sure the children are placed in a good home. Once child services comes in then legal papers will be made up between the parents and child services that child services will assume responsibility but it still does not keep you from having to help support the children. This will be ordered by a judge on what responsibilities you still have.
